General Information / Reminders

Smoking is prohibited on hospital property. You must leave hospital property, no exceptions! See the bulletin board in the EMS hallway for more information.


Parking behind the School of Nursing building is strictly prohibited. Violation of this policy will result in progressive discipline up to and including withdrawal from the program. Video surveillance is in place.

Faculty and staff are here to help you! If you ask for help you will get it. Don't fall behind. You can do this (if you choose to)!

You should be completing at least 2 tasks every day if you plan on graduating and becoming an EMT ...

     *  I made an entry in The Vital Signs Log Book (Every Tuesday and Thursday Night!)
     *  I completed my homework as assigned.
     *  I read the textbook in preparation for the upcoming lecture.
     *  I did a practice test.
     *  I attended a study group (even if I was the only one there).
     *  I completed the required NIMS coursework.
     *  I completed my Emergency Department rotation (10 hours & 10 assessments)
